As students are learning the ULTIMATE 260 - 4th grade sight words in this product, they will be provided with each word, an example of the word used in a sentence, and the opportunity to make up a sentence themselves using the word. I find that with my students who are Deaf/hard of hearing/ELL, when they make up sentences using each newly learned sight word, it helps them to remember how to spell the word, the meaning, and how it is used. My students love booklets of any kind that they can refer back to. Once they have come up with their sentences, they can include pictures that they print and cut out, draw pictures freehand, or find pictures in a magazine that they can add to each page of the 4th grade sight word booklet that matches each sentence they come up with. This gives students the opportunity to connect what they are learning about in the classroom with their own personal interests. This booklet is rather lengthy, so instead of printing it out, you can display it for the entire class to see as well. This booklet is perfect for students that are on grade level as well as students who require instructional information to be adapted.

Sometimes, we as teachers are the only ones in their lives to "make it a great day" and are the only ones that can make these special occasions special to them. • Print off Valentine's cards on cardstock and cut out
• If printed and cut correctly, fit A2 4.3/8 x 5.3/4 envelopes (if you choose to use envelopes)
• If you wish to or your school district allows, glue or tape a wrapped candy to the card.

The novel, Sideway Stories from Wayside School is a great read for students. My students enjoyed this book because it is humorous. It gives students the idea that children know more than their teachers. Each chapter has a vocabulary review and comprehension questions. Therefore, written comprehension skills are emphasized while reading.

The Pumpkin Patch Field Trip Unit is part of my Field Trip Unit Series. The series was created with homeschoolers in mind, but can be adapted to be used in a classroom as well. Field trips are a great way to supplement learning, but often homeschoolers don’t get any background information on the location of their field trip and want to enrich their experience by expanding the learning at home before and after the trip. These units help give information and fun activities before and after the field trip.

These units are available in PreK/Kinder, Elementary, and Middle & High School levels. All Pumpkin Patch Field Trip Units follow the same outline and the parent/teacher info sheet is the same for all three so that if you have children of several ages, you can seamlessly teach them together. The graphic novel, Queen Bee written by Chynna Clugston is entertaining and suspenseful. This book encourages my on-level as well as struggling readers to want to read. Students will like this book at the upper elementary, middle school and high school level, because the main characters not only have the ability to show the reader their super powers, but students can also relate to the main characters as they navigate school and developing friendships as well. Upon reading each chapter, students can answer the comprehension questions with help or independently. When students are finished reading this book, they can answer the questions about their favorite character, the plot, setting, etc. as well.
