Original PromptCreate how to subtract integers and add 20 practice questions
This resource focuses on subtracting integers using the "Add the Opposite" strategy, which involves rewriting subtraction problems as addition by applying the additive inverse rule. The lesson provides explicit goals, guided practice problems, and real-world applications to help students understand the concept of distance and movement on a number line while reinforcing their computation skills with integers. It includes exercises ranging from simple numeric problems to complex word problems to apply the learned strategy effectively.
