This resource provides a problem set for a K–5 math lesson focusing on the concept of understanding equal groups as multiplication. The exercises include fill-in-the-blank problems that illustrate the equivalence of repeated addition and multiplication, visual representations of groups, and basic multiplication sentences. Students explore multiplication through practical examples, such as grouping objects (e.g., apples, chocolates) and reinforcing the relationship between addition and multiplication. The problem set encourages students to think critically about mathematical relationships and to express their understanding through drawing and written sentences.
