This resource focuses on understanding how to build and represent numbers using base-ten blocks, emphasizing the concepts of hundreds, tens, and ones. Students will learn to identify and visualize numbers in standard and expanded forms. Through engaging activities, they will practice constructing numbers like 245 and understanding how the values of individual digits contribute to the whole number. The material also encourages drawing and writing expanded forms of numbers, reinforcing comprehension of place value and number structure.
