This resource focuses on teaching place value concepts through an engaging virtual math party format. Students will learn to identify and understand the value of digits in numbers up to 1,000, organized into the categories of ones, tens, and hundreds. The lessons include interactive notebook activities, where students practice writing and drawing representations of numbers. Group practices challenge students to apply their understanding, and sorting activities help solidify their knowledge as they categorize numbers into specified ranges. The resource concludes with exit tickets that assess their learning and comprehension of place value and number decomposition.
