This lesson focuses on the importance of effective communication and teamwork, highlighting the necessary interpersonal skills required to work together successfully. Students will engage in various group activities designed to define teamwork goals, share personal experiences through a Think-Pair-Share activity, and explore different modes of communication, such as body language and active listening. They will also discuss respectful behaviors and differentiate between positive and negative communication actions. An interactive Balloon Challenge will allow students to practice collaboration and reflect on their communication skills. Independent practice tasks include matching feelings with definitions and sorting actions based on kindness, culminating in a creative exit ticket where students express a kind message.
