Students will first talk in partners or groups about a topic related to Plymouth. Students will then read 4 paragraphs about Plymouth and answers some questions. Students will then discuss a question related to Plymouth. Finally, students will reflect and write on a topic related to the Plymouth Colony.

This product relates to the ERA of Colonization of the United States. Students are given a list of items to which they can choose to pack for their travels to the Regions of the New England, Middle, and Southern Colonies, writing them on the appropriate suitcases. Students will then discuss a question related to Jamestown. Finally, students will reflect and write on a topic related to the Jamestown Settlement.

This is a lesson for a 13 Colonies Unit. The lesson is divided into 3 parts - New England, Middle, and Southern Colonies. For each of the colonial regions, there are 4 parts:

1. Students will read through a section on a colonial region. A possible extension to this is to use colored pencils or highlighters to highlight the PEGS (Political, Economic, Geographic, and Social) in the readings. Use 4 different colors, one for each of the PEGS.

2. Students will then answer a question related to the reading.

3. Students will then use the reading to fill in a PEGS chart about that region.

4. Students will then label the map with letters and then fill in the map key with the appropriate colony.

This is a graphic organizer to use with a unit on the 13 Colonies. For each of the 13 Colonies, students will determine which colonial region they are located in, the founder or settlers,the date it was founded, and the reason or purpose the colony was founded. Use with a textbook or information from the internet.

This lesson is a matching activity of a comparison of the 3 Colonial American Colonies. Included is a chart and cards. Cut out the event cards and match them with the correct reform movement.

This product is related to the Colonization of North America. It has 2 parts. The first part is a comparison chart between the Jamestown and Plymouth settlements. The second part is a Venn Diagram of Jamestown and Plymouth. Students can use textbook, informational packets, or the internet to find answers.
