This resource includes a five-page Secret Code Book with five different sets of codes. I have included two sizes: a full-page size or a half-page size to save on copies. There are also ten activity pages to be completed using the codes in the book. Students crack the code then follow the directions in the code. These are great for fast finishers or for Fun Friday! Answer keys are included!

I plan to add seasonal and holiday pages as they become relevant throughout the year. As more pages are added, the price of the resource will increase.

Here are three fun math projects perfect for Back to School or any time of the year! There are three pictures from which to choose. There are also three different pages of math problems (for each picture) so you can choose the operation and level of difficulty for your class. There are addition, subtraction, and three addend addition. Students solve the equations and use the key to color the patterns on the picture. You can actually do this more than once and use a different page of problems each time. ANSWER KEYS ARE INCLUDED.

My Funky First Grade

This is a packet of THREE scavenger hunt (write the room) activities. The first is classifying nouns as person, place or thing. The second is finding words that begin with each letter of the alphabet. The last is differentiating between contractions and compound words. Word cards are included which can be laminated and hung around the room. My students love using clipboards to walk around the room and find the words! I also added in a couple of FREEBIE interactive notebook pages on nouns and verbs.

Here are eight fun addition roll, add and color worksheets that are perfect for math centers or fast finishers! They cover adding two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight and nine. Students roll one dot cube, then add the number on the top right corner of the page. Then they color that numbered section of the picture. This continues until all numbered spaces are colored, then they finish the rest of the picture. It's a great way to practice addition facts!
