This is a fun, engaging way for students to practice angle recognition and angle measure comparison. The deck of cards includes a variety of angles; you can include all of just the basic acute/right/obtuse angle depending on your class needs. The straight line, complementary angles, supplementary angles, 270/360 degree angles are all for added practice based on your student’s skill level. This game is played just like the traditional card game of war. While all cards are labeled with their angle type to aid students in recognition, they all have a specific angle measurement on them that they will be comparing for the game.

This product goes along with the Engage NY and Eureka geometry modules for 4th grade on angle measurement & plane figures. This resources includes a parent handout that introduces what is being worked on in the classroom for each topic within the module. It provides terminology, definitions and examples for the parents to help them to be better informed and more able to help their child study/practice concepts at home. This resources also includes an activity that goes along with each parent handout. This part can be used in class or sent home and is no prep; just print and go! This portion includes a maze, games, drawing activities, jokes, and cut & paste activities to help students practice skills in a fun, engaging way!

This is a digital notebook based on the Engage NY/Eureka 4th grade math module 4 (Angle Measures and Plane Figures). All of the tabs on the right hand side include links to each topic page for easy and quick access. The notebooks are student friendly that offer a basic teaching page with terms/reference page, examples and a review page for each topic to assess student proficiency with each skill. These pages are also able to be downloaded to be used as handouts/printables if prefered. This product would be great to use as handouts and practice pages at home to reinforce skills, used as in your Google Classroom as a quick check on skills to be taken as a grade if desired, or used as a student reference to help foster independence on future assignments.
