✯ School - 30 ESL - ELL speaking and writing prompt question cards ✯

Want your students to use their school vocabulary in meaningful discussions and writing assignments? This low prep activity is a fun way to encourage your students to speak more to each other about school. This resource is suitable for any curriculum in which English is the language spoken, and will work best for students in 6th to 12th grade or adult education. Just print and cut out as many sets of cards as you'll need. For a no prep whole class activity, use the PDF included which makes projecting the cards really easy.

You can use these cards after learning specific vocabulary for school or as a fun interactive activity on a day when you want to just focus on speaking and reviewing vocabulary in a different way.

All cards are visually stimulating and feature a circle to punch out in the upper left corner so that you can print, laminate, cut out, punch holes and hook the cards together with a ring. Using these cards this way makes it easy to pull them out year after year to use as NO PREP speaking activities. A pdf with only one card per page is included for easy projection when you don't want to print.

Using cootie catchers (fortune tellers) to get students speaking to each other and to help them get to know their classmates better is a great idea at any time of the year. Your students already love them, and cootie catchers are the perfect ice breaker activity for back to school. This resource is in English and is suitable for any teacher who wants his or her students to interact and learn fun facts about each other.
