Learn and practice reading words with the digraph SH with this activity bundle. This bundle contains 5 different activities that can be used to learn the digraph SH.

3. Word Wall Cards - There are 22 word wall cards, with the digraph at either the beginning or end of the word. You can cut them apart to create puzzles as well.
4. Digraph Worksheets - This is a set of cut and paste worksheets to practice reading and matching digraphs.
5. Digraph Flower Craftivity - Students will create a flower with words that begin with the digraph.
Digraph SH Flower Craft or Center

This product includes two flower templates for the digraph SH. One for making a flower with SH as the beginning sounds and one for making a flower with the SH as an ending sound. This flower craftivity is great for spring themed word family activity or center. It has six different petals with words and pictures to help introduce the digraph SH.
There are two ways to use this product:
1. Simply print this paper, allow the students to color, cut out and glue into a flower on colored construction paper.
2. Print the flower pattern onto colored card stock, cut and laminate. These flowers can be used in center activities. Combine this with flowers of other word families to have students sort by word families.

Digraph SH Self Checking Reading and Blending Cards

These digraph SH read and reveal cards make a great phonics center for segmenting and blending words with the SH digraph. These phonics cards are easy to prep and the resulting literacy center will provide independent practice that students with love! The self checking nature of the cards will give students instant feedback on if they read the word correctly.
How to Use:
Students will choose a word card from the set. They will practice reading the word, using the dots and arrow as a guide. Once they feel confident that they can read the word on the card, they can open the card to see if they read the word correctly.
This set of cards contains words with the SH at the beginning of the word as well as at the end of the word. All words are one syllable words consisting of 3 or 4 phonemes.
When to Use
The images in these digraph cards are bold and easy to recognize for students. This independent or partner activity will keep students engaged with reading words!

Digraph SH Word and Sentence Matching Mats

Building reading comprehension is an important skill for students to learn. This SH digraph literacy center contains hands on activities to practice reading single words as well as reading simple sentences.
What is Included:
To complete this activity, students will read the word or sentence on each mat and then match the pictures to the correct word or sentence.
Ways to Use:
Students will love the hands on nature of this activity. They are able to manipulate the images for a tactile approach to demonstrate their learning.
When to Use:
This activity is low prep. The mats just need to be printed out. The cards need to be printed and cut out. The activity can be laminated if desired for durability. Once created, this resource can be used over and over.

1. Students will cut and paste the words that begin with SH into the appropriate box.
2. Students will cut and paste the words that end with SH into the approptiate box.
3. Students will cut and paste the words into the appropriate column depending on whether the picture begins or ends with SH.
4. Students will color the pictures that begin with SH to complete the maze.

This packet contains 32 word wall cards for the digraph SH. There are cards that show the digraph as the beginning sound and cards that show the digraph as the ending sound. The first 32 cards have the word featured in black and white. The second set of cards has the word featured with the digraph in red.
These word wall cards can also be cut apart and used as puzzles.
