Are you looking for an easy and fun way to review winter vocabulary with your Spanish students? Then look no further! This low-prep set of three matamoscas (flyswatter) games is a great way to practice or review winter-related vocabulary with your elementary or secondary class.

This activity is intended for use as a paired game, but it can also be used as a large-group game (by projecting the chosen game page onto your whiteboard). If you're not familiar with how the game is played, it's simple: all you need to play is enough copies of the game board and two different colored writing utensils per pair of students. You call out terms from the call list included with the game boards and each person scrambles to find and mark it before their partner. At the end of the game, the player with the most terms marked wins!

• one game page with the terms in Spanish and English
• two game pages with pictures only, no words (the only difference between the two pages is that the first is in color and the second is black and white)

Are you looking for a fun and highly engaging game for your Spanish students? Play vocab bingo! All you need is one bingo sheet per student and items to mark their board (such as pieces of paper or beans). You call out terms from the Call List included with the game and your students race to be the first to get a bingo. The Call List includes all terms from the bingo boards in English. Are you looking for a fun way to introduce or review winter vocabulary in Spanish with your students? Look no further! Included in this PowerPoint are 30 terms represented on 32 slides (with a title page, a teacher tips page, and terms of use). The terms represented include:

• weather (snow, it's cold, snowball)
• winter activities (snowboarding, skiing, snowman)
• winter clothing (coat, scarf, mittens)
• other related terms (hot chocolate, polar bear, fireplace)

Each slide is animated so that the picture appears first, followed by the Spanish term, and finally the English term.

**Please note that the pictures are covered by white boxes that are animated to disappear when in presentation mode. When viewing the presentation in any mode other than “presentation mode”, it looks like there aren’t any pictures.**

My students really enjoy when we use this as a review with whiteboards. Make sure to check out the preview for a complete list of terms. Please note that the terms in the presentation are NOT editable, although slides may be deleted or rearranged.
