Feed a Apple Basket Upper and Lowercase Letter Identification Center Activity

Students flip over a card to feed their Apple Basket, they then either read the letter or say the sound(s) for each letter (depending on where your students are), after they use a manipulative to mark the letter.

This seasonal game has students quickly understand the quantities of numbers to 10, although these can be used with 1 to 1 correspondence, using them in a subitizing (the ability to recognize a quantity without counting them) method may be more beneficial
Students feed the basket a number quantity card, then the students mark which number they found. For added practice have students use the recording mat to write the number.

To play students feed a card, either in picture or word form, to their crayon box. Then the student works to segment the sounds by tapping the sounds on the mat, after the student will write his word. For accountability have students record their answers on the recording mat.
