Functional Skills Days of the Week Task Box & Schedule Bundle for Special Ed

This set allows students to learn the days of the week, as well as their order. Students can then generalize this learning by creating and following a weekly schedule. Task Box activities and Visual Schedule can be laminated and placed in task boxes or file folders, allowing them to be prepped once and reused with all of your students!
Visual schedules are a tool used for students with exceptionalities, but particularly for those with autism, to help transition between activities and places, follow a routine, know what to expect in their day, and develop new skills. The schedule allows a sequence of pictures and words to be arranged in order so that students can set and follow a daily schedule, as well as mark off completed tasks. The schedule can also be used to break large tasks or events down into smaller steps. Having a visual schedule can be a help to reduce challenging behaviour.
There are seven different task box levels included to support students as they learn to identify, match, and order the days of the week. Each matching level includes an errorless version so students of all abilities in your classroom can benefit! The Weekly visual schedule includes images that are appropriate for all age groups.
The Days of the Week File Folder/Task Box Set includes:

- Matching levels have an errorless version included

- Level 1 - Match Day to Day
- Level 2 - Circle the Correct Day from 2 Choices
- Level 3 - Circle the Correct Day from 3 Choices
- Level 4 - Match One Missing Day from Days of the Week
- Level 5 - Match Two Missing Days from Days of the Week
- Level 6 - Match Four Missing Days from Days of the Week
- Level 7 - Place Six Days of the Week in Order - One Given
& Place 7 Days of the Week in Order
These activities can be used with task boxes, file folders, laminate and circle with a dry erase marker, or any other organizational system that works for your classroom.
Each level includes a task box label so that you can easily track and choose activities for students.
