This bundle of lessons provides all the lessons and resources you will need to teach a unit about Migration to Britain in the Early Modern period, c.1500-c.1700. The migrant groups studied in this era are the Huguenots, Palatines, early African and Indian migrants, Jewish migrants and Roma Gypies.

Each lesson includes a variety of features and resources such as starter tasks, recap activities, printable activity/question sheets, practice exam questions, exam skills, discussion points, challenge questions as well as fun and highly engaging animated background information to help students understand the focus of the lesson. The lesson is designed to last approximately 90minutes – 2 hours (often longer if you decide to use all the activities and questions).
