S Blends Worksheets and Posters Bundle
by Jennifer ConnettPractice S Blend words with these S Blend worksheets and posters. There a variety of activities to help your students learn the different S Blends. There is a set for each S Blend (SC, SK, SL, SM, SN, SP, ST, and SW) as well as a packet for practicing the S Blends altogether.
This packet includes the following types of activities for each individual blend:
- 2 word posters - one in color and one in black and white.
- 1 or 2 Cut and paste the word under the correct picture.
- 1 ABC order page
- 1 or 2 Write the word under the correct picture.
- 1 or 2 Circle the picture that matches the word.
- 1 or 2 Circle the correct r-controlled vowel word that matches the picture.
- 1 or 2 Cut and paste the pictures that match the words. Write a sentence using one word.
- 1 or 2 Fill in the sentences with the correct word. (With picture clues).
- 1 or 2 Fill in the sentences with the correct word. (With no picture clues).
- 2-4 Stamp It! pages. Two pages for adding just the r-controlled vowel and two pages for spelling the whole word.
- 1 or 2 Spell it pages for using letter cut outs from magazines or other printed material to spell the words.
- 2 What am I? pages where students will write the word that represents the picture.
- 1 Seek and Find page
- 1 Word Search Page
- 2 Word Sorts where students place the pictures in the correct column, whether the words have the s blend or not.
- 1 Word Sort where students will look at the word and sort the to whether the words have the s blend or not.
This packet also includes the following pages with mixed blend practice:
- 5 Cut and Paste activities to sort between two vowel spellings. Students will write the words to the pictures.
- 4 Cut and Paste to sort between 3 vowels.
- 2 Cut and Paste to sort between 3 vowels and write a sentence.
- 6 Cut the word and paste it under the correct picture.
- 1 ABC Order pages
- 4 Write the word under the correct picture.
- 1 Color by sound page.
- 5 Color the picture that matches the word.
- 5 Circle the word that matches the picture.
