Spanish Simulated Conversations Bundle Versions 1 & 2 & How To Presentation

Answering questions can be difficult for students, but these TEN interpersonal speaking tasks give students some general information about what they will hear and how they should answer. An audio link accompanies each conversation, with a 20 second timed pause for students to answer. There is also a rubric for easy feedback!
These simulated conversations mimic the AP Spanish Simulated Conversation task and are also great practice for Seal of Biliteracy tests (like AAPPL) where interpersonal speaking is one of the tasks. Start practicing early!
Save money by getting Practice Versions 1 & 2 together in this bundle along with a How To Presentation, and some samples from a past AP Spanish test. Students listen and reflect on the scores that were assigned.

- Students in Year 3 and up (they may be appropriate for the end of Year 2)

- Use the How To Presentation for direct instruction on how to complete a simulated conversation
- Allow students to listen to samples and reflect on the scores they were given
- Play the audio over a classroom speaker or
- Assign 1 or more conversations to individual students. They can each play the audio on their own device.
- Use these conversations as practice or as a graded assessment

AP Spanish Simulated Conversation How To Presentation Spanish & English

In English or Spanish versions, this Google Slides presentation will show AP Spanish® students what to expect on the Simulated Conversation portion of the AP Spanish® Exam. This digital product is fully customizable!
This slide show is a concise introduction to the purpose and rules and requirements of the Simulated Conversation. It will explain, in English or Spanish, what skills are assessed on this task and what the rules, requirements and expectations are. It contains helpful hints on what students should do and should not do to score well. It will also show students a conversation grid similar to what is shown on the AP® Test.
