Note: The flashcards should be printed on construction paper or a thicker paper. Then you can cut out the cards, glue the backs together, and laminate them for use year after year.
HOW IT WORKS
- Start with the flashcards to practice, practice, practice reading and spelling the words (one, two, three, four, five, etc.).
- Then reinforce the spelling by using the interactive BINGO boards where students need to write the number words under each number before playing BINGO. The practice can be followed by some BINGO fun when you can play round after round as the students see the number words in front of them.
- Use the word search as a way to wind down the lesson or encourage group work to complete the worksheet.
