AICE Environmental Unit#1 The Water Cycle and The Atmosphere Activity/ Review
By AICE the Test
This activity can be used to practice/review/or teach the water cycle and the structure of the atmosphere concepts. It follows the Cambridge syllabus for Environmental Management AS.
I use this activity after I teach the two concepts: the water cycle and the structure of the atmosphere (Unit#1 section 4 and 5). I have students work in groups of four (students are allowed to choose their partners). They collaborate on how to properly sketch the diagrams and label them, define the vocabulary words and answer the review questions, but are not allowed to use any resources. Each student is responsible to complete the work and submit for grading.
It's a simple review activity that sparks conversation and fosters learning.
My students enjoy doing this activity and I hope your students will also get to like it.
