This learning resource is designed to help students synthesize themes across three independent reading texts. The objective is to deepen their understanding of literature's impact on self-awareness and the perception of the world. Students will organize evidence, analyze symbols and choices that reveal identity or themes, and draft a central insight connecting their readings. The document includes sections for analyzing each text, identifying key imagery and significant quotations, conducting a theme and identity analysis, and reflecting on how the texts collectively enhance understanding of one's role in the world. Additionally, there is a focus on synthesizing insights, recognizing similarities, contrasts, and recurring patterns across the texts, and establishing connections to course themes. Students are encouraged to reflect on their growth and address new questions that arise from their reading experience.
