This resource serves as a guide for students to independently plan a branching narrative structure for a story. The learning objective is to help students learn to map out key story moments, choices, and the subsequent consequences that arise from those choices. It provides a structured chart to visualize the narrative paths, encouraging creativity and critical thinking in story development. Students are prompted to define a pivotal moment in their story, create two choices for a character, and outline what happens next based on those choices. An example is provided to illustrate a branching structure, followed by a section for students to draw their own story map, using boxes to represent events and arrows to indicate choices. This exercise fosters narrative skills and enhances understanding of how choices impact storytelling.
