Original Prompt

My students are SWD, but have to take an Algebra I regents. They need supports for the Ti-85 calculator. Please give as many steps as possible. The following is a summary of a document named 9e087813-38f4-4bee-949d-9a119a84fac0%2Fuser_uploads%2FkVxyQnkn6QCRsPnQsEPJN?alt=media&token=b56535cd-633c-4d11-9756-aac8c046367a: The "1.5 Graphing a Function Student Activity Packet" serves as a foundational guide for students on graphing functions, emphasizing the importance of visual representation

This learning resource focuses on teaching students how to graph functions using a TI-85 calculator through a game-based approach, particularly beneficial for students with disabilities preparing for the Algebra I Regents exam. The resource breaks down the essential buttons and their functions, such as the Y= button to enter equations and the GRAPH button to visualize them. It includes a mission objective, success criteria, a visual guide to using the calculator, and interactive practices to provide hands-on experience. Students progress through levels that include independent practice and challenges that enhance their understanding of graphing concepts and how to manipulate window settings to optimize their view of functions. Additionally, it incorporates table values to connect graphing with numerical representations, encouraging students to derive values from their input equations and reinforcing their learning with checks for understanding.
