Scaffold this for my students that are below grade level, and they are also Spanish EL students. However, don't provide direct translations.

Scaffold this for my students that are multilingual. They speak Spanish natively. Also, they are special ed. Can we chunk up the text? Can we reduce answer choices?

I'm teaching this to a special ed student in high school who is at around a 5th-grade reading level. We would like to bake in clarifications and background knowledge, and we'd also like this to be chunked and scaffolded.
