This learning resource aims to help students understand the concept of environmental health by exploring how various environmental factors, such as air quality, water contamination, and waste management, affect human well-being. Students are encouraged to identify local environmental health issues and propose evidence-based solutions. The resource includes activities such as think-pair-share discussions, analysis using the 'See-Think-Wonder' technique, and structured brainstorming to develop a community action proposal based on the CER (Claim, Evidence, Reasoning) framework. Additionally, students will reflect on their confidence in using evidence to support their proposals and predict outcomes through a consequence mapping challenge.
