This resource explores the concept of ecology through the context of a school garden, encouraging students to consider the interactions between living and non-living components of an ecosystem. It prompts students to reflect on their experiences in parks or gardens, engage in a Think-Pair-Share activity to explain ecology, and participate in a Garden Treasure Hunt to identify biotic (living) and abiotic (non-living) factors.
