This I spy´´ game is part of a set with multiple ways to teach and learn 300 HMH First-grade Spelling words.

300 words in 36 weeks.

• 6 words each week from weeks 1 to 15
• 10 words each week from weeks 16 to 36

Some possible activities you could do with this resource:

1. I Spy Game. Hide flashcards around the classroom for students to find and write on one of the two available worksheets*.
2. Dictate the words on the flashcards in random order and have the students write them on one of the two available worksheets*.
3. Use them as a Literacy Center. Laminate each flashcard. Place them face up and ask your students to find a specific word. You can do that only with the words of that week, with the words of a module, or with the whole set of words of the year.

*Two available worksheets:

1. Fill in the blocks with each letter's size and length.
2. Write the words on the blank lines with the corresponding words.
