Preschool and Kindergarten will have a fun cut-and-paste activity that introduces fourteen 2D shapes shape words. The student will cut out the cookie shapes and paste them onto a cookie sheet.

Additionally, each cookie shape has a unique name, such as Raisin Rectangles, Chocolate Squares, Orange Sprinkle Stars, Oval Lemon Loves, Heart Cut-outs, Circle Cherry Chews, Triangle Tasty Tarts, Octagon Sweet Stops, Blueberry Rhombus Blisses/Blueberry Diamond Blisses, Limesicle Arrows, Blueberry Hexagon Chips, Pumpkin Pie Pentagons, Plum Yogurt Trapezoids, and Strawberry Crescent Chews.

This activity is perfect for use in math centers, as an early finisher task, and even morning work for take-home. It helps develop skills in shape identification, shape word identification, and fine motor scissor skills.
