Need a fun hands on way to practice reading and recognizing ACE words? These sorting activities provide a great way to practice these CVCe words in an engaging literacy center.

There are three different sorting activities to practice learning to read and recognize ACE words.

Sorts Include

• Sort words that are part of the ACE family from words that are not part of the ACE family.
• Sort pictures that are part of the ACE family from pictures that are not part of the ACE family.
• Sort between real and nonsense ACE words.

These low prep sorting activities are easy to create. Simply print the pages, cut out the sorting cards and laminate if desired. By laminating this literacy activity can be used over and over if laminated.

How to Use:

• Create a file folder sorting activity
• Add magnets to the pieces and create a cookie tray sorting activity
• Place in a box for a simple sorting activity
