These acorn themed alphabet puzzles are a great fall or autumn activity to practice beginning sounds. These puzzles focus on the most common initial sound for each consonant and the short vowel sound for each vowel.

What is Included:

There are 26 puzzles, one for each letter of the alphabet.

Each letter is represented in its own puzzle. The top piece has both the capital and lowercase letter and the bottom section have a picture that begins with the letter. The bold, colorful, and easy to recognize images allow students to work independently to build each acorn. When available, clip art with a fall or autumn theme was used to keep this activity seasonally relevant!
