These African Mask art projects will inspire your students to explore their creativity with a cross-curricular lesson perfect for celebrating Black History Month. This resource is designed for 2nd-5th grade students but can easily be adapted for middle school. 

This lesson is highly engaging and contains 4 different projects. Let students choose a project, create multiple projects, or choose a project based on materials on hand while learning about African masks and Black History Month

This project is perfect for Black History Month (February), but can be used in conjunction with a unit on masks, collage, mixed media, or anytime of year.
