A no prep activity for middle/high school students that is an introduction on the what's conscription, and basic arguments for and against it in Australia during World War One and a brief introduction to sources. (Does require internet access)

This activity introduces the main concept and arguments for and against the conscription debate. The students work to identify sources and which side of the debate they support. There are linked free online sources to support the student research.
