Composing and Decomposing Teen Numbers - Making Teen Numbers - Ocean Numbers

Do your students struggle with composing and decomposing teen numbers? This activity for teen numbers if for you! Not only will students have the opportunity to practice writing their teen numbers. They will also be making teen numbers and counting the fish.

These activities aren't just another worksheet to practice teen numbers! Instead when students are finished with the activity, they can put it in their book box to read again and again!

Teachers LOVE the arrangements of the fish and all the differentiated options!

This Set includes:

- There Are Fish in the Ocean

(example page: How many fish are there? There are __ fish in the ocean.) includes numbers 10-20

1 book with 3 versions for easy differentiation and multiple days of practice-

- a book with traceable numbers for students to practice counting and writing numerals from 10-20

- a book without numbers for students to practice counting and writing in numerals

- a book where students read the sentence and then build the number

*Fish are arranged in line, circular, and rectangular array arrangements

Each reader has:

  • a black and white PDF version with 2 books to a page
  • a color Seesaw version (links included to pre-uploaded books in the "READ ME FIRST" file)
  • a color Google Slides™ version of each book WITH audio*

Plus:

  • A Reference page to see which skills and sight words are addressed in each book
  • A Parents Tips page with an editable version included

*Audio Sharing

If you are finding that the audio isn't working for you or your students, please use the link in the READ ME FIRST file to add the files directly to your Google Drive! Most districts will not allow someone outside of your district to share files with students. Some districts DO NOT allow audio that originated out of the district. If the link is not working for you please email me at TeachingWithCoffeeAndMascara@gmail.com so that I can send you the direct files.

This is not a zip file but instead a file in Google. You will need to have a google account to open this file. Inside you will find all of the items in either a pdf format or a google slide.
