Decomposing numbers can be fun! Yet, decomposing is a difficult concept for many kindergartners. From experience, I find that it needs to be taught continuously throughout the year in a variety of different ways. This activity will have your students sorting colored eggs into baskets to show more than one way to make numbers. You will receive four worksheets to decompose numbers in two different ways. Students will have a great time with discovery and fun as they learn different ways to make numbers. Get your students to use their higher-level thinking skills as they have fun with math and decomposing numbers. Students will show off their knowledge by drawing eggs in baskets to show ways to decompose numbers and write equations. You may want to check out the preview to get an idea of just how cute this product is and some of the pages you will be receiving. This activity meets Common Core K.0A.3.
