Are you looking for a way for students to practice their short vowel CVC words? Then this Feed Wanda a Potion activity is a great option.

To play students feed a card, either in picture or word form, to their Wanda's potions. Then the student works to segment the sounds by tapping the sounds on the mat, after the student will write his word. For accountability have students record their answers on the recording mat.
