Flower Themed SEL Feelings Check in with Students, Rank the Statements Activity
This quick-prep SEL check-in activity is perfect for emotional check-ins, especially with students who struggle speaking with adults. Use this activity as a feelings check-in, get to know me activity, calm down strategies activity, icebreaker activity, or rapport building activity. Get students speaking without having to say a word!
This low-pressure “Rank the Statements” activity helps you to develop relationships, break the ice, and build rapport with ease.
Get to know students based on how they rank statements on a 5point scale from strongly disagree to strongly agree. Chose from the 204 statements or customize your own for a game unique to each student.
You’ll have both color and printer-friendly versions of:

- Blank Statement Flowers
- 6 Ranking Labels
Use this activity with small groups, individuals, or as a check-in activity.
Assembly is both simple and fun. Print on card stock for durability, laminate, and cut the flowers apart. Glue the flowers to popsicle sticks and bam! You now have a fun and low-pressure way to get students talking!
