This fun tic tac toe game uses fun food pairs instead of X’s and O’s! Each game details two digraphs that will battle against each other in a yummy game of tic tac toe!

This product includes 4 beginning digraph games and 3 ending digraph games. In all, 13 different beginning and ending digraphs are reviewed. Each page also features a matching black and white version, to save on ink! Students place the cards on the play mat and whoever gets three in a row wins. Each playing card includes word labels as well to help students read the word.

Food pairs in each game: cookies & milk, peanut butter & jelly, hot cocoa & marshmallows, popcorn & soda, chips & guacamole, ketchup & fries, cake & ice cream.

Beginning digraphs: ch, ph, kn, qu, sh, wh, th, & wr.

Ch- words: chime, chick, chimp, chocolate, chopsticks, chips

**Ph- **words: photo, phone, pharaoh, photocopier, physics, pheasant

**Kn- **words: knight, knife, knob, knock, knot, knuckle

Qu- words: quack, quart, quarter, quilt, quartz, question

Sh- words: shapes, shell, sheep, shin, shovel, shirt

Wh- words: whack, whale, wheat, wheelchair, whistle, whisk

Th- words: third, thief, thermometer, thorn, thread, thumb

Wr- words: wrap, wreath, wrench, wrestle, wring, wrong

Ending digraphs: -ck, -ng, -ch, -sh, & -th
