French Passé Composé and Imperfect Tenses - 50 Practice Cards

This is a set of 50 practice cards to help your more advanced students practice and master choosing when to use the passé composé and the imperfect tenses. This set of cards provides an excellent way to review these tenses with students who have already learned the rules, but need more practice at a less elementary level. I find that my students can learn the rules, but I can never have too many different ways for them to see these tenses in action and to understand the difference. The vocabulary used in this set of cards is more advanced than what you would use when first introducing this grammar topic.

Each card displays a verb in the infinitive that students should conjugate either in the passé composé or in the imperfect. This resource is included in my Imperfect Tense Bundle and in my French 3 Curriculum Bundle.

An answer key is provided, but from time to time you will notice that given the context, the tenses may vary. This is a good opportunity to talk about context with your students.
