This intermediate French exercise includes ten sentences to translate from English to French using the following tenses or verbal constructions and the direct object pronoun LA. An answer key is included.

Exercise #5 focuses on the use of the French direct object pronoun LA with various tenses. This resource is included in a bundled set of six exercises using different types of French pronouns.

The ten sentences included in this exercise follow chronological order, encouraging the use of pronouns to avoid repetition. Students must pay attention to the sequence in order to make sense of the changes in verb tenses and the consistent use of pronouns to replace words that have already been stated in the beginning of the exercise.

This sentences in this exercise tell a story. The first sentence of the exercise includes some underlined words. Translate it and the following sentences replacing the underlined words with a pronoun. The tenses change in each sentence.
