This lesson will not go in-depth into how the U.S. democracy or other governments work, including but not limited to Direct Democracy, Constitutional Democracy, Constitutional Monarchy, Absolute Monarchy, Communism, and more. In looking at the definitions of how various governments work around the world (along with a video to elaborate and a game to reinforce the definition of each government) students will decide whether the U.S. government system is a fair system.

This lesson is designed for middle school students but could be engaging for older students as well.
