This Reader's Theater is a companion activity to the book “Give Thanks for Each Day” by Steve Metzger. It will enable the children to enjoy the story even more as well as increase reading fluency and speaking skills.

About the Book

Give Thanks for Each Day, told in rhyme, reminds us to be thankful for the small things, everything from new crayons to parades. It also reminds us to be thankful for each other and the love shared in moments like holding hands.

There are four versions included. Two versions has roles for two students. The other two versions has roles for three students. All of the versions are either 2 or 3 pages.

I hope you enjoy using this reader’s theater with your students.

There is no AR quiz for this book but I would say it is around a 2nd grade level.
