• Here, Kitty Kitty: In the first task, students will read a passage about black cats and correct incorrectly used homophones.
• Witch Sentence?: In the second task, students must identify each type of scary sentences (indicative, imperative, subjunctive, etc.) in a matching game.
• In Cold Blood: In the third task, students must identify incorrectly used past tense verbs in a passage about vampires then unscramble letters to solve the code.
• Zombie Escape: In the fourth task, students must solve a zombie word maze.
• Sentence Skeleton: In the fifth task, students must identify the parts of speech of words within a Halloween quote in a matching game. Once complete, they must input all codes into a sentence to escape the haunted house!
