This packet includes 10 month, 4 week layout per month of adapted health curriculum plans for students in 7th & 8th grade. This packet includes what health material students can learn and the instructional plan for what content can be taught during each month. Essential questions are provided for each week. This packet is useful, organized, and focuses on what should be taught weekly and monthly for students that need material broken down or taught at the adapted level to ensure their individual learning needs are met. This product can be edited according to what is covered on a week to week basis.

Jan - Taking care of your personal health, how to care for your teeth, staying safe during physical activity, treating injuries, how to reduce the risk for violence, signs of abuse
Feb - How do you stay safe - safety in school, community, kitchen, outdoors, staying safe in different kinds of weather, what do you do in an emergency, taking care of injuries, breaks and fractures
March - Differences between drugs and medicine, how alcohol affecting others, how tobacco affects the body, alcohol affecting the body
April - Different kinds of illegal drugs affecting the body, communicable diseases, what are STDs, Causes of HIV and AIDS, noncommunicable diseases
May - Managing time and money, finding valid health information, influences on consumer choices, different community health services
June - What makes your environment, keeping our environment clean, social emotional health affecting your health, and conversing resources
