HEART SONGS is a set of composing worksheets where students fill in note names into the noteheads of Quarter Notes and Eighth Notes, and the note heads are hearts you can use for the Valentine’s Day season.

In total, there are 46 different pages you can print off and use with your students in classes and lessons. Included are 11 4-beat pages in landscape orientation, and 35 8-beat pages in portrait orientation. There are a good mix of quarter-note and eighth-note combinations throughout the resource.

Simply print off the pages you want to use with students, and go! These pages are perfect to either practice composing, rhythmic reading, and more. Students just need to write in Music Alphabet letters in the heart-shaped note heads and they can play their compositions for you and their friends and family.

Each page also features a spot for students to title their composition and write their name on the page as well.
