A Google Slides informational text writing unit about the genocide of Jewish people called The Holocaust which happened during World War II. The unit is ideal for both in-class and distance learning in fifth grade and sixth grade. The unit has been split into four separate lessons.

The first lesson is interactive and involves students reading facts, and then sorting and ordering these facts into paragraphs. In the second lesson the children need to use these facts to type four paragraphs and write an introduction. In the final lesson students need to check their draft paragraphs before typing up their work on to the template provided.
