This Reader's Theater is a companion activity to the book “I Don't Want to Go to Sleep” by Dev Petty. Three other books in this series are "I Don't Want to Be A Frog", “I Don't Want to Be Big” and "There's Nothing to Do!". My students absolutely loved this book and I want to make a companion activity. It will enable the children to enjoy the story even more as well as increase reading fluency and speaking skills. This reader's theater is perfect for your class anytime of the year.

About the Book

Young Frog learns an unexpected lesson about how NOT to be bored. He tries to get help from Cat, Owl, Pig, and a girl Frog.

This reader’s theater is 3 pages long. There are two version included in this reader's theater. The first version is for five students - Child, Owl, Rabbit, Cat, and Pig. [The parts for Rabbit, Cat and Pig are very small in this version] The other version is for 3 students - Child, Owl and Other Animals.
