Kick off the school year with our delightful beginning-of-year craft activity designed to foster a sense of community and belonging in the classroom! Students will create personalized picture frames showcasing their unique personalities. At the start of the year, each student will have their photo printed in 5x7 size, which the students will place in their crafted frames. But it doesn't stop there! On the back of the frame, students will have the opportunity to share more about themselves with an "about me" page, adding depth and personal connection to their creations. Hang these fun and informative frames up in the classroom, serving as both a visual reminder of each student's individuality and a catalyst for building relationships. As classmates explore each other's picture frames, they'll quickly learn names and gain insights into their peers, laying the foundation for a supportive and inclusive classroom community from day one.
