~ The Case of the Groaning Ghost literature unit is a great guided reading group novel study. My students truly enjoy Jigsaw Jones and try to figure out the mystery before the end of the book! ~ Questions use higher level thinking skills. ~Included in the unit: -vocabulary for the book -comprehension questions for each chapter -extension project – create a game ~ I use this unit with one of my guided reading groups. The unit can last from a week to two weeks depending on how often I meet with the group. ~ The Case of the Groaning Ghost is an AR level 3.1 book.
