Students will learn to derive linear equations from various different forms.
Slope Intercept Form: y=mx+b
Point Slope Form: (y-y)=m(x-x)
Standard Form: ax+by=c
For Linear Functions, students must be able to find an equation with a various given information: slope and a point, two points, slope and y-intercept, etc.
In this worksheet, students will practice deriving linear equations;
* Derive the equation in Point Slope Form.
* Derive the equation in Slope Intercept Form.
* Derive the equation in Standard Form.
Practice worksheet is included with an answer key.
