Are you looking for a fun way to combine French listening comprehension with a cultural activity about the Louvre? Your beginner students will be amazed at how much they can understand in this activity, and that will give them a good boost of self esteem!
The first step is to have your students watch the six minute video. In this video, I read a short text from a brochure to the Louvre. I read the text three times, stopping in between each reading to ask three questions (plus a bonus question).
At the end of the video, and when everyone has finished answering the questions, distribute the text, vocabulary list, and questions + answers which are located on the second page and watch the video again. Students can read along with the text on the second viewing.

NOTE: Please excuse my backwards French flag in the background! When I recorded this video I didn't realize that the image would be flipped. Brownie points to students who recognize that it should be bleu, blanc, et rouge!
