This is a google slideshow that I use to help students (and their parents) understand my expectations on an MYP Criterion B Assessment.

I use multiple specific examples to show what it means to

• Write a general rule
• Verify that the rule works for multiple examples

After teaching 6th grade math in a few years, I've learned that students often don't know what it means to "write a rule" or how to verify if their rule is correct with well chosen examples. This is designed to help clarify the expectations that they will see throughout MYP.

I do this after our first Criterion B quiz. All examples are from the quiz.
